Size and fit

The right size is crucial for Safety, comfort and grip Please always observe the Size chart on the respective product page, as the information may vary slightly depending on the manufacturer.

How to measure correctly: Measure the distance from Wrist kink (lower wrist) to the metacarpophalangeal joint of the middle finger (not to the fingertip). Compare the value with the table and round if in doubt not upwards—too long grips can “hook” on the bar and disrupt the technique.

Fit tips:

  • With rolls:more leverage/grip for advanced gymnasts.
  • Without rolls:More direct feeling on the bar, often more comfortable for beginners or technical phases.
  • Velcro vs. buckle:Velcro is quick and flexible adjustable, buckle especially fixed and durable.

Width & shape: Narrow tongues give a lot of mobility, wider models often offer more Pressure distribution. If you are between two sizes, check the Manufacturer recommendation - or write to us, we will be happy to help you choose.

Material and care

Leather is durable, dimensionally stable and develops over time a very grippy Feeling. Microfiber/synthetic leather is easy to care for, has a uniform structure and is less sensitive to moisture.

Basic care rules:

  • After training let it dry (room air), do not Place on a heater or in the sun.
  • No soaking in water; for microfiber, a slightly damp cloth. Never wash leather.
  • Magnesium residues regularly knock out/rub off so that the surface remains even.

Cracks, severe fraying or loose seams are Change signals– Safety first.

Break-in: New grips need a few sessions until they fit perfectly. Start with shorter loads and increase the intensity gradually. With the right care, you can maintain Shape, grip and durability– and avoid unpleasant surprises on the pole.
